Participatory science - this is how you could describe the MonViA wild bee monitoring. Together with volunteers, non-lethal monitoring methods for wild bees are tested and their occurrence recorded in agricultural landscapes.

The aim is to improve knowledge on wild bees in Germany and to be able to give politicians recommendations for wild bee-friendly agriculture.
